Street dog shelter 'Kóbor Szívek Állatmentő Alapítvány' in Karcag is a private initiative and more than 200 dogs from the street are cared for here every day. You understand that a lot of dog food, cloths, sheets, medicine and money are needed to keep such an organization running.
Do you have a heart for dogs from the street? Then think about how much you can afford to lose. We think about:
- Dog food (these are mixed with leftover food from supermarkets, 1500kg per month);
- Used blankets, towels, sheets, etc. (these are used as a surface in the crates);
- Volunteer work (come and help with cleaning and feeding for a few hours a week);
- Money (the veterinary costs alone amount to 25,000 euros per year).
